Adjacent to Lime Tree Walk is the beautifully scenic Apley Woods. Formerly part of the Apley Estate Legacy, this incredible 56-acre wildlife site has been carefully restored and nurtured by the Friends of Apley Woods and Telford & Wrekin Council. With an abundance of meadows, pools, trees and gently curving footpaths, Apley Woods is a fine example of a 19th century landscaped woodland.
Nearby, you’ll also find the breathtaking scenery of The Wrekin Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Wrekin is located within the northern area of the Shropshire Hills and offers beautiful views of Shropshire and beyond.
You’ll also find The Ironbridge Gorge close to our new homes in Telford. Fabricated from cast iron, the bridge was a first of its kind and today symbolises the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. Whilst the ironworks, foundries and mines have long gone, their place has been taken by quirky boutiques, eateries and attractions breathing a new lease of life into the valley.
