In detail...

Welcome to Seaham - a lively seaside town situated on Durham’s Heritage Coast, just 6 miles south of Sunderland and 13 miles east of Durham.

Seaham is renowned for its stunning North Beach which provides panoramic views of the towering cliffs along the coast. With recent rejuvenation projects carried out in Seaham, the town has been embellished with an abundance of cafés, bars and restaurants. To top it off, Seaham’s main shopping district, is located just 2 miles away from our development!

When you combine this with our variety of fantastic new properties for sale, whether you’re a couple or family, you can be certain there will be something for everybody!

Although the town has been recently renovated, it’s known for its rich mining history – Seaham is at the heart of a string of former coal-mining villages which line the North Sea shoreline between Teesside and Tyneside.

The town also features the church of St. Mary, one of the oldest surviving churches in the United Kingdom as well as the famous heritage and lifeboat centre where the George Elmy is on permanent display.

Visitors can enjoy a relaxing walk down the popular promenades, Esplande and Terrence Green. or explore the popular George Elmy Lifeboat Way – part of the award-winning Durham Coastal Footpath. Alternatively, families with young children can relax at the Seaham Hall picnic area whilst admiring breath-taking views of the majestic coast.
