Move
quickly to benefit from Stamp Duty savings
Back in the
summer, the Chancellor introduced a temporary Stamp Duty holiday on all properties
priced at £500,000 or less in England, offering potential savings of up to
£15,000. The tax break is due to come to
an end on 31st March and you need to have completed on your house
sale by that date to qualify.
Kier Living has
a number of properties available for the end of March and, if you have an
existing house to sell, you can speed up the process by using schemes such as
Part Exchange and Smooth Move. Find out more.
For those
looking to buy after the Stamp Duty holiday deadline, Kier Living is still
offering a range of money-saving incentives on selected properties, including
mortgage holidays and deposit contributions. Get
in touch with your
local development to find out more.
2.
Follow
the guidelines
The current Government guidance states
that you are free to buy, sell and move home during lockdown, but should take
precautions to keep yourselves and others safe. The full up-to-date guidance
can be found here.
All Kier Living developments are open by
appointment only to ensure everyone can adhere to social distancing guidelines.
We have clear signage and floor markings and regular deep cleans of our sales
areas.

need a more flexible property to accommodate home and school working, there’s
no need to put you house move on hold.
Here is what one of our customers said
about moving during lockdown:
“We
moved into our Kier home just before Christmas, after a difficult year trying
to sell our old home. We fell in love with the site and were lucky enough to
reserve the house we all loved as a family. The Kier team were amazing
throughout; we had constant contact and quick response to queries – they were a
pleasure to deal with. Since moving in, our emails have been responded to
quickly by the aftercare team. Thank you Kier for a wonderful site and our new
family home.”
