Some of the best aspects of Wolverhampton are the city’s excellent transport connections courtesy of the nearby motorway links, its Metro system, major rail station and its central location in the heart of the UK. This means that if you need to commute or travel for leisure you have plenty of options to swiftly see you to your destination. Also, despite its close proximity to large urban areas like Birmingham and Walsall, Wolverhampton also offers easy access to the countryside, with sprawling green spaces just a 10-minute drive away.

Those of you with children will also be pleased to know there are many ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ schools in and around the city, plus many top universities like Warwick are nearby.
When it comes to attractions and activities, Wolverhampton also has more than its fair share of things to do. Various historical sites and museums can be found around the city, celebrating its fascinating industrial history. Equally, there’s a busy nightlife with many great bars and restaurants, as well as entertainment venues like the Civic and Slade Rooms which showcase the best in live music and comedy. Fitness fanatics and those who enjoy the great outdoors alike can also revel in the many picturesque public parks, gardens and play areas.
The city is also undergoing a period of significant investment, with over £3bn expected to be spent on regeneration in the coming years.
