Living in Coventry
Coventry will be the UK City of Culture in 2021 and with its impressive history, heritage, amenities and much more, it’s not hard to see why it was given this status. Coventry is a city on the up and its popularity as a place to live also continues to rise – and our stunning properties could provide the perfect setting for you if you’re looking to move here.
The city boasts excellent nightlife, shops, stores and entertainment. There’s an array of pubs and restaurants and if you’re after a little retail therapy there’s the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre where big brands can be found. For something a little more boutique there’s also an indoor market and the FarGo Village in the ‘Creative Quarter’ of the city, which is brimming with vintage stores.
There are a number of tourist attractions as well that showcase the city’s fascinating history. From the Coventry Transport Museum, to the Midlands Air Museum you can find plenty of interesting and educational places to visit. The city also has its fair share of historic sights, in particular the statue of Lady Godiva – arguably Coventry’s most famous resident - St Michael’s Cathedral, the 12th century Holy Trinity Church and the medieval St Mary’s Guildhall.
Our new homes in Coventry are also perfect for those who may need to commute or regularly travel as the city offers excellent transport options. The M6 is close by as are several connecting A roads. The train station is a main stop on the West Coast Main Line, offering regular services around the area and to London and Birmingham. There are also CrossCountry services to other cities in the north and south of the country.
The Surrounding Area
The West Midlands and its counties are also yours to enjoy when you move to one of our new homes in Coventry. Warwickshire alone, for instance, has fantastic attractions like Warwick Castle, beautiful countryside to explore and historic towns like Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.
If you love the great outdoors there’s even more on offer. You can visit one of the region’s five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty such as the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. Sports fans will also be able to attend exciting football, rugby and tennis events held at the many grounds and venues dotted around the area.
In addition to this, families looking to the future will be delighted to know that some of the UK’s best universities can be found in the region surrounding our new homes in Coventry. This is on top of the many ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ primary and secondary schools that are found in the city itself.
