As well as the bus routes, major rail stations, the international airport and tram links, the M60 ring road connects to several other road networks, such as the M62, M6 and M56. These provide direct routes to other major cities like Liverpool and Leeds, as well as the south to Birmingham and London.
Some of the main highlights in the surrounding areas include the North West’s ceremonial county Lancashire, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales to the east and the picturesque Lake District to the north. What’s more, you can reach Wales in under an hour meaning if you prefer to holiday in the UK you will certainly have plenty of choice.
