The vibrant city of Peterborough is close by, with its Bronze Age Centre and magnificent Norman Cathedral reflecting the city’s historic roots that are now being transformed by a £1 billion regeneration programme.

Throughout the year, the city hosts events from the CAMRA Beer Festival to the East of England Show and Peterborough festival. It is also home to a range of new nightclubs and bars with popular DJ nights, while family entertainment includes a 20-lane bowling alley and a 13-screen Showcase cinema.
